Orders for delivery in 2024 for bunk beds and custom items will end off on 21/10 and all other orders 28/10. We will have limited items available for purchase in our ready to ship and sale section for our end of year and Black Friday sale. This will be VERY limited.

Our online store never closes and production continues to take place on new order however delivery will only be in January / as per production lead times. We will be closed for a short production break from 20/12/2024 and reopen on 06/01/2025. 

We are super proud to say that our  products are made and designed in South Africa! There are different lead times for each category of products, as seen in the extensive list below.

Keep in mind spray painted, varnished or stained items can take longer to finish than natural items. Load shedding,  the dreaded South African word , unfortunately this can potentially disrupt lead times not just for us but for our raw material suppliers , we try our best to navigate around these delays but it can from time to time delay manufacturing and our shipping companies.

Please note that manufacturing time is calculated from date of which your payment is cleared. Excluding public holidays and weekends

These are some estimates of current lead times:

Wall shelves , smaller toy items like laptops , clothing rails , bedding  2-4 weeks

Toy items, Slides , piklers , rockers, dressing tables, small toy boxes 3-6 weeks

Table sets 3-6 weeks

Steel table sets and bow chairs/ bow chair table sets-  4-6 weeks

Bookshelves ,Dressing tables,  large toy chests, cubed storage units , pigeon hole units  , Desk and storage units, Large Doll houses 4 – 6 weeks

Standard Beds and natural house beds 4-6 weeks

Bunk Beds and Spray painted beds 5-8 weeks

Nursery furniture: 6-8weeks

Custom items and large volume orders can take 6-9 weeks depending on the designs , quantities and finishes.

Large and detailed bespoke bunk beds are advised depending on design detail.

Our shipment company can take anything from 4-8 working days to deliver items depending on size and area in SA. This is not included in the manufacturing lead times. Local CPT deliveries takes 2-4 days and are area dependant and local installation are set on a order by order basis.

If you need your order by a certain date please email us to see if we are able to assist with a rush order, however this is not guaranteed. We will always try and see where we can assist.

Please know we take our try our absolute best to stick to these lead times and are, for the most part, successful and often send out items way before they are expected. We will always transparently communicate to clients should we experience production difficulties, supplier order delays/problems etc.

All completely custom items are subject to a technical drawing that clients needs to approve before production can start. Clients need to check these and confirm design specs and measurements.

Please note that a trundle bed fits a trundle sized mattress and not a standard single or 3/4. Contact us directly for pricing on these trundle mattresses.

Our furniture items are spray-painted with a premium quality Child-friendly PU paint. We have international safety certification on our coatings. Most of our beds are made from SA Pine, Supawood , Ash or Oak , unless otherwise stated, it can happen that you will see the some wood grain or stroke here or there. Wood has various characteristics ranging from white , yellow , brown , black and grey  , this is part of the wood.

Even though we take as much as care possible for this to not be visible on certain parts of the items, wood is a natural product and these characteristics makes your furniture unique.
