Production & Lead Times

Our products are lovingly handmade by skilled carpenters in our family factory in Stikland, Cape Town.

We mostly make products to order and our lead times greatly depend on what orders we currently have in our system and if the item is in stock or not. Our smaller items we try and keep in stock, but bigger items will have lead times. We don’t keep any beds in stock as our range is too vast to do this.

Keep in mind spray painted, varnished or stained items take longer to finish than natural items.

These are some estimates of current lead times:

Smaller items and Table sets – 2-4 weeks
Bigger bookshelves , large toy chests, pigeon holes – 4 weeks
Beds  4-8 weeks
Playroom storage units, compactums, nursery furniture 4-8weeks
Big bunk beds & custom beds and items can take up to 8 weeks depending on the designs and finishes.

Our couriers take anything from 4-8 day to deliver items depending on size and area in SA. This is not included in the manufacturing lead times.

Please note that manufacturing time is calculated from date of which your payment is cleared. Excluding public holidays and weekends .

If you have any questions email us at or

Please know we take our try our absolute best to stick to these lead times and are, for the most part, successful and often send out items way before they are expected. We will always transparently communicate to clients should we experience production difficulties, supplier order delays/problems etc.

The wood we use for production comes from sustainable forest areas and suppliers.

Designed and Manufactured in South Africa.

All completely custom items are subject to a technical drawing that the client needs to approve before production can start. Clients need to check these and confirm design specs and measurements.

Our furniture items are spray-painted with a good quality Child-friendly PU paint. Because our house beds are made from SA Pine, unless otherwise stated, it can happen that you will see the wood grain or stroke here or there on the bed. Even though we take as much as care possible for this to not happen, the wood is a natural product and makes your bed unique.

We are able to assist in all custom wood and steel furniture or decor you might require.

We take great care to offer safe, well-manufactured items, but please always supervise your little ones while playing.
