Every Declan & Leah piece is manufactured in our own South African workshop, allowing us to maintain complete control over quality, detailing and finish. By keeping production in-house, we’re also able to offer considered custom options while ensuring consistent craftsmanship across every order.

Do you manufacture your furniture locally?
Yes. All Declan & Leah furniture is designed and manufactured in our own South African workshop. This allows us to maintain quality control, offer custom options, and ensure every piece is crafted with care.
How long does production take?
Lead times vary by product category. Most items take between 2–8 weeks, depending on the design and finish.
Standard beds and storage units typically take 4–6 weeks, while bunk beds and custom pieces may take 5–9 weeks. Exact timelines are confirmed once your order is processed.
When does my lead time start?
Production time begins once your payment has cleared and your order has been processed. Lead times exclude weekends and public holidays.
Can I customise a bed or furniture piece?
Many of our designs can be adapted in size, finish or configuration. If you’re looking for something specific, contact us before placing your order and we’ll guide you through the available options.
Is delivery available nationally?
Yes, we deliver across South Africa using trusted courier and shipment partners. Delivery typically takes 4–8 working days after manufacturing is complete. Local Cape Town deliveries take 2–4 working days.
Do you offer installation?
We have our own delivery and installation teams in Cape Town. For deliveries outside of Cape Town, shipment partners place items inside your home, but installation is not included. Our furniture is designed for straightforward assembly, with hardware and instructions provided.
Can I request a rush order?
If you require your order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order. While rush orders cannot be guaranteed, we will always see where we can assist.
What payment options are available?
We accept EFT, PayFast and lay-by. A 50% deposit confirms a lay-by order, with the remaining balance payable over 1–3 months. Production begins once full payment has been received.
